Help with course levels:

  • The Beginners course implies that you have never learned the language.
  • Elementary is the next step up. It implies that you already have some knowledge of the language and roughly¬†corresponds to a GCSE level at entry. However, it doesn’t mean that you have to have a GCSE.
  • Intermediate is the next step up after Elementary. It roughly corresponds to an AS-Level. However, it doesn’t mean that you have to have completed an AS-Level course.

These are just rough guidelines to try and help students make a decision.

If you are interested in attending a one-week intensive course (25 hours over a week) during the summer holidays, in one of the following languages, please contact our office

  • Arabic Beginners
  • French Beginners¬†
  • German Beginners¬†
  • Japanese Beginners¬†
  • Spanish Beginners

Each course consists of 25 hours a week (daytime)

We will consider evening times if the demand is sufficient

The fee for the whole course will be:
Full: ¬£220 (only ¬£8.8 per hour) ‚Äď Retired & Students: ¬£190 (only ¬£7.6 per hour) ‚Äď Benefits: ¬£130 (¬£5.2 per hour)

We follow The COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK REFERENCE FOR LANGUAGES
